Enlightenment, perfect bliss, and complete transcendence are ways to describe Samadhi.

There is a theme in yoga called “Maya,” and it’s described as a veil over our perceivable world that separates us from the infinite. An illusion of sorts, maya is the barrier that is overcome when a person reaches Samadhi. At the peak of consciousness, withdrawn from the outside world and taking full possession of the energy within, the universe itself becomes a part of the person.
